Book review - Can you keep a Secret?

Hello,

Thought I'd share with you another book to enjoy. It's another Sophie Kinsella.

The Blurb reads:
Emma is like every girl in the world.
She has a few little secrets.

Secrets from her mother:
1. I lost my virginity in the spare bedroom to
Danny Nussbaum while Mum and Dad were downstairs
watching Ben Hur.

...From her boyfriend:
2. I'm a size twelve. Not a size eight, like Connor thinks.
3. I've always thought Connor looks a bit like Ken
As in Barbie and Ken.

...From her colleagues:
4.When Artemis really annoys me, I feed her plant
orange juice. (Which is pretty much every day)
5. It was me who jammed the copier that time.
In fact, all the time.

...Secrets she wouldn't share with anyone in the world:
6. My G string is hurting me.
7. I faked my maths GCSE grade on my CV.
8. I have no idea what NATO stands for.
Or even what it is...

Until she spills them all to a stranger on a plane.
At least, she thought he was a stranger...

Another brilliant read for you to get your teeth into, so much that you can relate to, when one person knows something you don't want to share with the world... however for Emma this stranger knows everything. A fun read that you won't want to put down.

Shoes - My new wedge Hi-top Trainers

Morning,

Just thought I'd give you a Monday morning post to start your week. Recently I've been looking at all the different hi-top trainers that are on sale in high street stores and online, there are plenty to choose from, also a selection of prices are available. I think they make a nice change from boots. I hunted high and low for the perfect pair for me, I came across a pair in Dorothy Perkins.

These have a great wedge to add extra height to my
outfit. I've been wearing them a lot recently and
they are really comfy!!

I looked them up online last night and they now are in the sale, so you can get them much cheaper!! (Always a plus).

Hope you enjoy your week, and find plenty of time to shop!!

Shopping - my new purchases

Dear shopping lovers,

Last Sunday I headed to the shops to find a few bits to update my winter wardrobe. I had a voucher for £10 off at Oasis, thanks to my favourite Magazine "Look". I was going to look at a new coat or a warm piece of clothing, however when a spotted this beauty across the shop I knew i had to have it!!
I love the black and brown together, which means
it can go with many different outfits!!
Also large enough to fit plenty inside.

I found a few Christmas presents while shopping, but I was really looking for a new pair of Boots, however the shop I wanted them from, they didn't have my size in stock (Sad face), so instead I looked them up online, little did I know they had a sale on them!!!
New Look Boots!!

I think I'm sorted for this week, however I know I'll find something else to buy soon.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Film Review!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

So I've just got home after seeing the midnight screening of the last of the twilight saga films, "Breaking Dawn Part 2". All I can say is WOW!!!
The story picks up right where the last film left off, with Bella transforming into a vampire. Straight away we can see that she feels different, by her sight and her strength. Edward is there waiting for her, ready to teach her, her new life. Bella goes straight away for her first hunt, feeling the change in how fast she can run, the way she moves, we get to see how she tires to learn to hunt, however when she smells a human her vampire instincts take over, Edward is there to stop her but doesn't need to do much.
Don't worry Jacob fans, he's waiting for Bella when she gets back, to find out how different she is, also ready to stand by while Bella meets her daughter Renesmee. Little does Bella know that Jacob has Imprinted on her daughter!!! The reaction by Bella is fabulous - Kirsten Stewart takes on this new role as a vampire with style, showing everything the audience wants from the character. I love Bella's reaction and how Edward (Robert Pattinson) just stands by and watches, even Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) asks if Edward should step in to stop Bella.
Another brilliant part is how Jacob (Taylor Lautner) shows Bella's Dad Charlie (Billy Burke) how Bella is now different by revealing his own wolf secret. Oh, he strips down... Such a funny moment!!! Just so you know the scene between Emmett (Kellan Lutz) and Bella with the arm wrestle is in the film... Just another moment to enjoy.
Bella's perfect world is shattered when Irina (Maggie Grace) pops by for a visit and mistakes Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) for a immortal child, then the Volturi are ready to take down the Cullens to this act. All seen by Alice (Ashley Greene)  in one of her visions.
Knowing that they could be all killed, they know that they will need help to stop the Volturi so search the world for other Vampires from Carlisle past to help them stand against the Volturi. All the characters from the book are included, also show casing the vampires that have special skills. Each of these of visually wonderful, from Benjamin, Zafrina and Kate.
Overall this leads to a stand off between the vampires gathered with Bella, and her family against the Volturi, So much happens in the next part which will have you gripped to the screen... It is a little different from the book, BUT perfect for the film!!!!

Overall such a perfect ending to a wonderful saga which has been a joy to watch and I'm sure be enjoyed again and again by many people. As they say in life, all good things must come to an end. But Bella and Edward always have FOREVER.

I must get some sleep now,

The Twilight Saga - The films

Hello everyone,

Over the past weeks I've been busy blogging about the Twilight books, as I've been reading them all before the release of the last film in the saga. Now I have also watched the films again, and FINALLY the day has come, tonight (which will be tomorrow by the time we get to see it) I will have seen the last film in the saga. I'm excited and sad... because I feeling like I've been waiting ages (Years) for this last film, but sad as i know once I've seen it there will be no more. However I do know all good things must come to an end. Therefore as I'm dying to see this last film, i going to see it just after midnight... Yes i don't care if you think I'm crazy.

When I get home after watching this film, I shall share my thoughts on how I think they have done portraying this film for page to screen... Remember its only my opinion, and i don't intend to give away the ending, as that would just spoil it for everyone.

Write to you all soon....

Breaking Dawn - Twilight - Book review

Greetings,

I've been keeping myself busy with reading the Twilight books, and the last book in the saga is Breaking Dawn, the biggest of all of them, with so much going on in this book to keep you interested.
The book is split into three, with the first part of the book from Bella's point of view, moving on to Jacob. Then back to Bella. This is the only book in the main saga that is told from someone else's point of view.
Jacob helps you see from the outside of the vampire family, however you know he had a distaste for them, but he is always willing to protect Bella no matter how much it hurts him emotionally.

You need to look at this book as three parts. Firstly Bella choosing Edward over everything else in her life, a beautiful wedding, and being able to choose to spend the rest of her life with the man she loves (Or if she gets her way the rest of her time in this world). However when things change so does Bella view on what she wants in her life. The second part is from Jacob, how he feels about Bella, which you mostly already know from the past three books, but how he knows he will do anything for even when he is unsure of the future from her decisions. When he finds out Bella is pregnant he believes the baby is just going to kill her and nothing more. Jacob feels the Cullens her not helping Bella by going along with her decision, well some are in agreement with Jacob.
Then lastly when the books returns to Bella's point of view. When she survive the birth, but isn't human any longer, how she feels about being a mother. Her reaction to how Jacob now feels about her daughter, and that maybe she now has her happily ever after... Or not when she finds out the Volturi want her dead because of her daughter. Bella and her new vampire family know they must fight to save them all, including Jacob. Their only hope is to get as many other vampires on their side to stop the Volturi and save everyone.

This is a gripping book, and creates a wonderful end to a beautiful set of books that I love reading. So many moments that stand out in this book, my favourite being the arm wrestle between Emmett and the newly turned Bella.

I hope you have ebjoyed these books as much as i have and know that they are always there to pick up and read...

Book review - Remember Me?

Dear readers,

If you have a little bit of time on your hands, why not pick up a book to enjoy... and I've got just the one for you from Sophie Kinsella.

Blurb reads:
What if you woke up and your life
was perfect?
Lexi wakes up in hospital, thinking she's twenty-five
with crooked teeth and a disastrous love life. But, to her
disbelief, she learns it's three years later - she's a super-
toned twenty-eight-year-old, her teeth are straight, she's
the boss of her department - and she's married!
To a good-looking millionaire!
She can't believe her luck - especially when she sees
her stunning new loft apartment. And she'll definitely
have a fantastic marriage once she gets to know her
husband again. He's drawn up a 'marriage manual',
which should help.
But soon she realises her perfect life isn't all it seems.
Her old colleagues hate her. A rival is after her job.
Then a dishevelled, sexy guy turns up ... and lands
a new bombshell.
What the **** happened to her? Will she ever
remember? And what will happen if she does?
This book will have you guessing at each turn, as with the character you both starting placing the puzzle pieces together to find what parts Lexi is missing. Helping to find what is her perfect life, however its not as perfect as she first thinks. Lexi tries to find what she really want, which might not be what she has got.
How you feel about where you are in years to come if you didn't know how you got there?
A wonderful read.
