My Primark Buys

Afternoon,

At the weekend I popped over to Milton Keynes to look round their Primark near the Milton Keynes Don's Stadium. There was plenty in there to get you ready for the summer! But I was trying to be good, so had a look in the sale section and found two tops ready for Reading in August!
This top is quite see through so I'll wear a small top under it, But
priced at £2.00 it was worth it!

As I love New York I knew I had to have this top,
Also in the sale at £2.00!

Over all I had a bargain hunt at Primark, only buying socks and a lip balm as well. I think I need to go back soon!

Sunday's Trip to HobbyCraft

Hiya All,

I've still been a busy bee creating loads of craft stuff, so I decided as I had a bit of time I thought I'd pop over to HobbyCraft in Milton Keynes (My local) to find what they had there.
There's what I found:

I got myself some more cards... as you can never have too many cards!
I got some clear stamps in the sale, one at £1.00 and the overs at 49p!
Plus double sided tapes and a gold ink pad.
Also some cut outs for £1 a sheet.

I've just got to take some time out to create some beautiful cards!

Hiya,

When you go to the local supermarket you can buy just about anything now, and most have a great selection of clothes and jewellery! (Which makes me soooo HAPPY) BUT the best bit, they are a great price and also in style!
I found myself some steals in the sale section.
These two hair accessories were reduced to only £1!!
Small Hair accessories £1.00

A head band £1.00

Was £22 down to half price £11.
I'm a big rabbit lover, and thought this was really cute.

Craft Bargains for a local store

Hey,

Yeah I've been out and about again trying to find craft stuff to make. This time I went to a local store near where I live, mainly to find a gold ink stamp, but I can never leave with just one thing! Well of course I found the sale section where I picked up some stamps for only £1!! Bargain!!

So I brought 8 in total, but priced at £1 I couldn't really go wrong.
As you can see from the picture I got some flowers, Hearts and even a
tea bag (I thought it was funny!)

Now I really need to get busy and make some more cards!!

New shoes... yes please!

Hello,

Last week I went shopping with Mum and walked straight into the sales and found myself some new SHOES!! I found two lovely pairs in Dorthy Perkins.
These cute heel had £10 off and are so comfy. I just need to find a
dress to wear them with for a wedding I'm attending in the Summer.

These ankle boots are perfect for England's wet summers.
In the shop these were in the sale section along with many more
pairs of the same shoes in different sizes
however they didn't have a sale price on them. Therefore I asked a member
of staff before buying them the price. I was told they shouldn't of been in the sale
section, but because it was the shops fault i could have 30% off.
It ALWAYS pay to ask!

I love my new shoes, I've just got to style them with the clothes I already have in my wardrobe.

Enjoy your week.

A Sunday Bike Ride

Afternoon,

I have decided I REALLY REALLY need to get fit. I just realised how bad I've got. In my job I'm on my feet all day, therefore when i get home all I want to do is sit down on my bum... or sleep. My brother is a true fitness person, so is the perfect person to help get me fit. Today me took me on a bike ride locally.

This is the route I took Roughly. It takes you from Kempston, through Bedford near the river, on to Willington, where you can stop for a drink and bite to eat at The Danish Camp, it has a lovely view over the river.

Now I haven't ridden a bike for ages so I took it quite slow over parts, there aren't too many up hill part, the worst is a bridge which takes you over the A421. I found the ride back the most difficult, mainly because the wind was blowing in my face pushing me backward, which made for a good work out.

Hopefully I'll be doing this more offend on a Sunday, especially in the summer (As long as it isn't raining!)

Film review - After Earth

Afternoon,

Yesterday I went along to the cinema to see the latest film from Will Smith staring his son too, Jaden Smith. Set in the future, man kind has left the Earth unable to stay as they have affected the world too much, polluting it beyond repair. A millennium after the pair are forced to return to earth after their aircraft crash lands, killing everyone on board after from them, injuring Will Smith character Cypher (Strange name!) must rely on his son Kitai (real life son Jaden) to save them both, however he isn't the strongest and fears much. Kitai must travel across the Earth to to get help to save them both, but the Earth isn't what we know, with many animals set to kill humans and an alien which crashed landed with them which want to kill them both. The alien feeds on fear, that is how it find you and kills you, with Kitai on his own I'm a world he doesn't understand his fear is strong.
This film show the father and son team working together strong and is great to see something a bit different. I quite enjoyed this film, with plenty happening through out. I took my two younger cousins to see this film, the fifthteen year old enjoyed all the action by the character ( like most lads) where as the twelve year spent the whole time telling me how fit Jaden smith is! So over all they both enjoyed the film too!! I think it's a good film for the two working together since "The Pursuit of happy " when Jaden was a little boy. Jaden is an actor to watch in the future, I'm sure he is going to be in plenty of films.

Enjoy your week,

Happy Fathers Day

Afternoon everyone,

Today is Father's Day, a day to remind just how lucky we are and say thank you to our dad for everything they do for us. I'm very lucky to have such a wonderful dad, Who love me and my brother loads. He is always there for us and taught us how to live our lives. However I haven't seen my dad today as I am looking after my two younger cousins staying with them, and my dad is at work. Therefore I'm watching one of his favourite films "Con air", I've already left him a card and a present just so he know I appreciate him for everything he does.

Enjoy your day with your dads or remembering your dad if he is no longer around to be there for you. I count myself lucky every day that I have such a wonderful Dad.

Check out my new HANDBAG!!

Morning All,

My week has been jammed packed!! I don't feel like I've had a rest in ages, but in any time I get I find shopping as a way to unwind... Just costs me a bit!
I brought myself two new items last week from a small company based in Bedford called "LadyBug" they attend many local shows based at schools and in a local florist in my area. They specialise in handbags and jewellery, which I brought one of each.
Large bag, with plenty of room inside. And a little one attached.

Inside there is another bag!!

A small bag attached inside, which you can take out and have on a
long strap.

Overall this bag is like two in one!! Priced at £32.00 it is great size and two bags!!

I also brought a necklace.
Cute necklace with plenty on it! Includes gems, and my favorite clovers.

Priced at £18.00 i thought it was steal for how much it's got on it. PS. I'm like a magpie, i like shiny things.

I love my bag, its great size for me, and looks so pretty. And the necklace is great as a statement necklace with a plain white t-shirt.

I can wait to show these off!

Cheap tents

Hello everyone,

Two weekends ago, I headed to my local boot sale to see if I could find any bargains and I struck gold... Well cheap anyway. I brought myself two new tents! They were originally from tesco's but were still in their packaging, and much lighter than the one I used last year. I brought them for £3.00 each which I think is a bargain!! For that price it's doesn't really matter if I don't bring them home with me after the festival. I going to reading festival this year again, I'm excited to see so many great acts, and I was thinking of getting a new tent for this year, because the one I used last year was quite heavy to carry. The two I've got are a four man, and a three man tent, I've given the three man tent to my friend as this is her first festival where she is camping so I thought this would be perfect for her and her friends.
I just hope we have some sun shine over festival weekend :)

Dancing on the stage

Hello,

Last week I had a dream come true.... I got to dance on the stage at Milton Keynes theatre! I am still taking ballet lessons at the theatre which I love, well we had always discussed that if chance we would all love to dance on the stage. Well we had a chance, the theatre didn't have any shows on that night, and the stage had been striped back to the base of which the theatre owes, so we were bale to use it!! The curtain was open so we were dancing towards the audience, however we had no audience just empty chairs... Which meant there was no pressure.
It was amazing to be dancing across the stage, using all the space. I would of loved to spend all day and night dancing there :)

One day if I got my way I would perform to a full audience... I'm dreaming now.

Last Minute Gig

Afternoon all,

Two weeks, I was called at work asks if I want two tickets to see the British band Muse. Of course my answer was "Yes!!" A quick smile at my boss, to ask if I could leave early. Then two phone calls later, one to my mate to see if she wanted to change our plans for the evening so we could go their instead and another to my brother to see if I could get a lift. Then it was off to London for my friend and I (woop)
The gig was at the Emirates Stadium in London, I had never been there before, it's a great stadium, perfect for gigs as well as football, how the food was crap!! I ended up having some hot dog thing that was cold... Rubbish.
Anyway back to the gig, the support acts were Bastille, hit include"Pompeii" and "Flaws". (My friend was so excited to see them, this is her favourite band at the mo. She has seen them many times). Also supporting was Dizzee Rascal, has great hits like, "Bassline Junkie", "Holiday" and "Bonkers" it was great jumping around to all his songs :)
The main act of the night, "Muse" did not disappoint! They had a large stage, with fire works, shots of fire coming out the top and I was in the standing area with an awesome view. I was sing along with the songs, and made friends with a few other fans standing round us. Half way through the gig they revealed a large light bulb in the air which moved over the crowd then an acrobat drop out the bottom showing some stunts!! Was a superb addition to the music and the band.
I had an amazing night which was so unexpected, just wish I had more gigs booked.

Enjoy your weekend,

Summer is here OOTD

Afternoon all,

This week we have been lucky enough to have some lovely weather, I don't knew how long it will last therefore I'm getting all my summer clothes out and wear all my lovely clothes.
Recently I posted about my new wedges I brought and I've been wearing them loads this week, to make the most of them. On Tuesday I went for a chilled look, wearing a new skirt from Matalan, black and white strips, £12, and a t-shirt from I abercrombie & fitch. This was the first time I wore this skirt and looking forward to creating many more outfits. :)

Enjoy your week,
