Book Review - Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult

Afternoon all,

Yep I've read another of Jodi Picoult's books, I've got a stack of them, some of what I've read and others still to read. I've enjoyed all of her books so far, and get myself caught up in the story line, always wanting to know what will happen to each of these characters and their story through out the books.

The blurb reads:
Why would a man who loved his wife - so mush that in the
quarter century since her death, he hasn't found someone
to take her place - why wouldn't he have a record of the life
he'd had with her, of the baby they'd made?

Delia Hopkins had led a charmed life. Raised in rural
New Hampshire by her widowed father Andrew, she now
has a young daughter, a handsome fiance, and a job she loves,
finding missing persons.

But as Delia plans her wedding, she is plagued by flashbacks of
a life she can't recall. And then a policeman knocks at her door,
and her world fractures into something unrecognisable...

A beautifully gripping story about a Dad wanting the best for his child, like all parents do! Delia finds out that her dad took her away from her mother and staring over with out her, Delia needs to know what her life would of been like and was her dad right in doing what he did is all the court wants to know.

If you love other books by Jodi Picoult, then its a great follow on from other you may have read, and if not, why not take a chance and read this one!

Love Lolly
xoxo
