I've been shopping...again!!

Hello all,

I popped into my local Matalan this week, mainly to change a top I'd already got, but ended up getting a few other bits too!! (I couldn't help myself... I knew I shouldn't of gone in there).
Sorry in advance for the bad photo, i couldn't get the light right and was in a rush.
These are all pj tops, reduced to £3 each... perfect for these warm nights.

I also got some new bra's, these are different as they have
racer backs and are great for going under some tops
and hiding the straps! An £8 bargain.

A lace racer back.

I really need to stay at home and not venture to the shops in the next few weeks... My wardrobe is struggling to take much more stuff!! haha... I also brought a few more bits on my shopping trip that I will share with you another time.

Tuesday's Outfit

Hello,

I'm loving the sun shining down on us all, I just hope it lasts for a while. Today has been lovely and hot, so I've been chilling in the garden enjoying the weather... Without a BBQ! (Can't have it all) I thought I'd share with you my OOTD!
Look away from the white legs... I've got them out to try and get a tan.
Top - Primark
Shorts - Primark
Shoes - NewLook

I crated a plait in my hair to keep it out of the way, as it was too hot, I added my sunnies and some bangles. A quick outfit to keep me cool. Also I love my top, it shows off just enough side boob!

Book Review - Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult

Afternoon all,

Yep I've read another of Jodi Picoult's books, I've got a stack of them, some of what I've read and others still to read. I've enjoyed all of her books so far, and get myself caught up in the story line, always wanting to know what will happen to each of these characters and their story through out the books.

The blurb reads:
Why would a man who loved his wife - so mush that in the
quarter century since her death, he hasn't found someone
to take her place - why wouldn't he have a record of the life
he'd had with her, of the baby they'd made?

Delia Hopkins had led a charmed life. Raised in rural
New Hampshire by her widowed father Andrew, she now
has a young daughter, a handsome fiance, and a job she loves,
finding missing persons.

But as Delia plans her wedding, she is plagued by flashbacks of
a life she can't recall. And then a policeman knocks at her door,
and her world fractures into something unrecognisable...

A beautifully gripping story about a Dad wanting the best for his child, like all parents do! Delia finds out that her dad took her away from her mother and staring over with out her, Delia needs to know what her life would of been like and was her dad right in doing what he did is all the court wants to know.

If you love other books by Jodi Picoult, then its a great follow on from other you may have read, and if not, why not take a chance and read this one!

Hand made jewellery by Me

Hiya all,

Last year for my birthday my mum and dad brought me a jewellery making kit, as I love make craft items so they thought this would be perfect for me.  This week I decided to create the items in the collection, this included earring, bracelets and two necklaces. They are all made from peals, which are included in the kit.

The set as it arrived, includes a book on how to create each item.

Earrings with little bows

Loops and a peal drop.

Long peal necklace

This is a very weighty design with plenty of interest.

A peal bracelet with a rose charm detail.

I love the jewellery I made as they are something different and made by me :)
